This week we delve a little more deeply into the truth about the nature of cancer. The myth persists that cancer is a genetic disease with all the commensurate implications for treatment plans that follow on from this position. Professor Thomas Seyfried of Boston College, Massachusetts, USA, has shown clearly that this is false. For the full details see my previous post presenting the argument here.

Professor Seyfried shows that cancer is, in fact, a metabolic disease. He does so with reference to the facts. His is the only hypothesis that explains all the evidence and contradicts none of it. It also explains the failure of the continuing ‘war on cancer’. Professor Seyfried points out that a cure for cancer will never be found by the mainstream medical fraternity until it is correctly identified as a metabolic disease. Sadly there is much institutional resistance to this simple truth.

What is claimed and what is not

It must be noted that Professor Seyfried is not claiming that he has found a cure for cancer. He is claiming that cancer is a metabolic disease, and all the implications thereof. It must also be understood that he does not advocate a home approach to curing cancer. The drugs that he uses to suppress Glutamine in a pulsed fashion are not generally available to the lay person. But he has shown us a clear way to prevent cancer – by ensuring we have healthy mitochondria. Fortunately there is a wealth of information available today on how to achieve this.
