A 22-year-old entrepreneur from Ha-Ravele village in Venda, Limpopo, is determined to pull her family out of poverty with her business acumen. Thiofhi Lambani has created her own dish-washing liquid – Spotless – and plans to create other cleaning products soon. “Spotless is a household cleaning brand which produces and distributes different cleaning products. Because we are still self-funded, I decided to start with the dishwashing liquid, which we have tested and sampled. The first batch of products will be available in November,” Lambani said. Lambani said she was inspired by her grandmother, who used to sell things around in order to feed her family.
