Veronica is 34 years old and lives in beautiful Fernie, British Columbia. She works as a certified Life Coach and her company is Thrive Life Coaching. She strives to live a life full of passion, joy, laughter, faith, hope and love and she is blessed to have the opportunity to help others transform their everyday routine of a life of surviving into a life of thriving!
In 2007, she became a certified education assistant and spent the following eight years working with children with a variety of disabilities and challenges. Her days are filled with “walks” around Fernie with friends and family, art (photography and painting on canvas – Veronica’s Visions Art), walking/exercising in the pool at the aquatic center, and engaging in deep and meaningful conversations with complete strangers in any of the many coffee shops in town.
She lives her life with faith, hope and love at the core of everything I do. This is the true Veronica. She is a relationship-oriented woman who lives every day to the fullest… or at least she tries. Some days are harder than others. This is in part to the reality that she was born with Myelomeningocele (Spina Bifida), an incomplete closing defect of the backbone (spine) and spinal cord. She would be lying if she said that life has not been difficult, but with an incredible network of family, friends and my community surrounding me, she wake up everyday choosing a life of joy and thriving!
