Compelled to learn how to follow Him, she reached out to the only Christian she had ever known: her ex-father-in-law. At his invitation, Sandy and her daughter moved to Texas to be part of his home church. When Sandy met a nice Christian man to marry, she thought life was on the right track once and for all. She was being invited to tell her story across the country at various ministry events. But when it came out that her husband was abusing her daughter in the same way Sandy had been abused by her own father, she was devastated. Still, God redeemed her story again and helped her and her daughter find healing and purpose.
