3685 Chyrlle Dunne (Abuse, Tragedy, Faith) Growing up on a small Canadian wheat farm, Chyrlle’s farther left to find work in the city. Her family reunited and she married a neighborhood boy who turned out to be immediately abusive to her. She endured years of domestic violence and even wanted to kill herself at times. Her husband’s sudden and unexpected death left her struggling with the guilt she felt over her relief. She remarried and had more children and wanted to be able to help them with their Christian-school homework. So she took Bible classes and tried to understand God so she could give her life to him. Her husband helped her see that as Christians we live by faith and not only by knowledge or understanding. She gave her life to the Lord and discovered a hope for life and the future she never could have imagined.
