No OU football really to talk about on this pod so we take a bigger look at the college football landscape as we prepare for Championship Weekend. We preview the major match ups and make our picks and pretty much lock in the CFP. Then it's on to Circling those WaGanns followed by Pat's 2 minutes of World Cup news. This one was rough. Mason, Mark and Matt break down a 51-48 loss in Lubbock to end the 2022 regular season. What happened to the defense we saw last week? Offense still seeming to stall at critical points. Venables' decision making needs to be better. We look at it all.

It's Bedlam week and the Sooners need a win in the worst kind of way for more reasons than one. OU will welcome in a bunch of big-name recruits on Saturday to watch them take on little brother Oklahoma State. Some 2023 commits re-pledged their loyalty to OU this week as well. Then it's time to preview Bedlam itself and what OU needs to do to get a win and turn themselves bowl eligible. Then we talk about the CFP and make some picks for our pick 'em page. What else is there to be said? Oklahoma loses their fifth game of the season after losing 23-20 to WVU in Morgantown. The defense stepped up but the offense was left with more questions than answers. Do we now start to question the Venables hire? At what point is this team supposed to get better?

Colton Vasek, a DE out of the class of 2023 announced on Tuesday that he was flipping his commitment to Texas. We discuss what that means for OU moving forward and how they can right the ship with only about a month before signing day.
