Great book and person!!
Thankful for this simple but content rich health book! In summary:
- It gets to the point quickly which I really need with my busy schedule.
- Plus, it covers everything from how to pick a probiotic to a list of foods we should incorporate into our lives. Some of these things a nutritionist told me about but with this book, I don't need to hire someone to cover the same material.
- Lastly, Gregg helps people realize it's not "one size fits all" but an individual approach to health.
Great book and much needed!
By the way - I highly recommend connecting with Gregg which he mentions at the back of his book. You will find him caring, motivating and knowledgeable... as I have.
A MUST READ if you want to take your health into your own hands!
Just got this book and I can't put it down! It speaks right to me. We all can take control of our life's (what we eat, our work/life/family balance, stress levels) with small non-self-punishing enjoyable common sense steps. In the age of sky rocketing health insurance and medical costs with decreasing quality of care, we can all begin the journey to inexpensively self-insure ourselves by improving our own health through stress, life and food management. Progress over Perfection is a challenging practice to follow but I feel as if I have a personal coach helping me perfect Progress over Perfection. Thank you Mr. Roberts for your contribution to this important topic.
In an âinstantâ world this is the tortoise approach to health that will succeed
As Iâve grown older, it has become harder to control weight and also to stay out of the doctorâs office. I appreciate Greggâs approach that is not an all or nothing method, the hare, but rather the slow and steady tortoise method of approaching health. He calls it mindfulness and that is a good way to implement what he is advocating. Intermixed within the health advice are personal stories that show how he put into practice what he is advocating.
