Daniel spent eight years honing his musical talent at a music conservatory, playing for the local orchestra. After getting his first PC at age 13, he began to discover the musical possibilities of the computer, composing his first pieces of music. At the same time, he became exposed to the DJ scene, attending parties and becoming influenced by the energetic tech sounds of Dave Clark, Chris Liebing, and Umek, as well as the progressive music of DJs like John Digweed, Sasha, Dave Seaman, and Max Graham.

Daniel’s musical obsession made him search his inner self for something unique. He was torn: he still loved the energy that techno gave him, but at the same time felt that the genre was regressing. He was in dire need of change and found his real love: progressive house. This was music where you could combine funk, drive, melodies, ass-shaking beats, and awkward sounds all in one, rather than using a single formula that he had grown tired of.

Nowadays he got more than 100 tracks released and many are feedbacked and played by the biggest names from the scene like Nick Warren, Jody Wisternoff, Moshic, Quivver, Solarstone, Lemon8, Jaytech, Fernando Ferreyra, Michael & Levan, Faskil, Kintar and many more...

Besides his work as a producer, Daniel is also credited as being an excellent DJ. His sets these days are as diverse as his productions, blending progressive, breaks, and deep house into a very distinct and atmospheric sound.

He has been featured with exclusive mixsets on every month, at Frisky Radio (Mindfields) where the intelligent dance music gets the leading part, with co-host Retroid.

At 2012 he started his own record label called Deep Dive, that is focused for deep house music, and at 2013 the sublabel called Star Dive, wich is the place for he's progressive and break expressions.

Brenden LaBonte a.k.a. Forerunners has released a steady stream of immersive and unique tracks over the past 8 years, with remixes and originals on various Solarstone labels, Sudbeat, Suffused, Saturate Audio, Silk Music, Perfecto, and others. Something of an enigma as an artist, this Arizona based producer is definitely in the ‘quality over quantity’ camp. Forerunners music is about the slow build, the journey, where filters ebb and flow, layers creep to the front then withdraw, where the percussion is hypnotic and the synths repetitive, and the melody draws the listener in with its subtlety, rather than a crass fanfare. It’s either early night material for trance rooms, or peak time material for intelligent progressive floors – spun by DJ’s who know how to work a room. This is what progressive trance music is all about.
