It's been awhile since the last episode, had a packed November but it's back to regular programming now! Azra and I talk about what it’s like taking a gap year based on our own personal experiences and how it has benefited us as well as the downsides that come from taking one.

Covid-19 has affected everyone in one way or another. With so many plans being taken away just like that, I spoke with Michelle to find out how life has been from having to study, job search and work from home in a pandemic. We also share how we've been coping and navigating in what we call the new normal. Follow Michelle (@michgeez) on Instagram if you'll like to connect! A couple of years back I got interviewed about my adoption story, you can read it here - https://tinyurl.com/marcusadoption and I've always been wanting to do a follow-up piece after that and I'm glad I finally got down to it! It also contains a couple of questions that friends had asked about being an adoptee (e.g. How does adoption work, will I ever want to meet my real parents?). Do follow Naquiyah's Instagram @nm_1197 if you’ll like to reach out to her about her adoption story as well!
Quote from the Episode: "Although my beginning wasn't as bright or happy to begin with, I believe that it will end well."

This episode contains lots of Gen Z slangs and terms that I do not use on a daily basis, but it was still fun nonetheless. We discussed if there was really a difference between Millennials and Gen Zs as well as the idea of cancel culture and how we’re living in a time of self-awareness and the need for being socially responsible for our actions. It was lit (ok I tried). Follow Megan’s Instagram @megflurri if you’ll like to make a new Gen Z friend! If you like what you hear, share it with a friend and follow this podcast for more episodes! Decided to try something new and dive into the love talk ❤️ for this episode. If you know Claudia, you’ll know her bubbly, loud and fun-loving character which is probably 80% accurate in the podcast. Hear how she gets all sappy and her experience being in a long-distance relationship (+ an interfaith one too!) as well as the challenges and how they overcome it. We even discussed the “secret” of being in a successful relationship? 😳

Being in the media and creative industry, you’re bound to meet ambitious and passionate individuals like Rachel Yeo. While chasing your dreams and passion may seem straightforward, making it a reality is definitely not an easy feat. Despite differing viewpoints with her family and an internship rejection from a local newspaper, find out how Rachel managed to navigate her way and realise her passion. Quote of the Episode: “You can’t fake passion”

I caught up with my ex-colleague turned good pal, Ronn, who shared about his inner demon - anger, and how he’s learning to be aware of it. Ronney and I also talked about the reality of seeking professional help and offer our own perspective of this issue. *Disclaimer: We are not health professionals and we are not offering any form of medical advice in this podcast.

Hi there, my name is Marcus and I’ll be explaining what Project M is about and how it all started. It’s been something that I’ve been working on for quite some time and I just thought there’s no better time than now to “Just Do It”. I really do hope that something good comes out of this podcast as the intention is really to spread positivity through these deep mindful and meaningful conversations that I’ll be having and you get to learn a thing or two or even pass it on to someone you think would really benefit from listening to this. Feel free to follow me at @chaptersofmarcus on Instagram if you wanna reach out and let me know what you think! Signing off, Marcus K
