Assalamulaikum everyone! Welcome to the fourteenth episode of season 2 of Project Manchala. For today's episode, I have my friend Arzaan on to discuss something that’s become a newfound interest of mine, Dark Souls 3. Now the Dark Souls series has been known as arguably some of the most difficult games ever made, join us today as we go over the culture these games have created and the games that stemmed from their creation.
These sorts of games aren’t everyone’s piece of cake, join us as we discuss why that may be a good or bad thing. How things have changed since the originator of the series first came out. And what the future may hold.
I hope you've all been enjoying this season of Manchala, we're slowly coming to a close as there are a few more episodes I have planned out that I'd like to produce. The past two years have been challenging to say the least and I tried my best to adapt Manchala and take it on this new journey. I hope you all continue to support me with the coming episodes and the next season whenever it comes. Thank you so much, everyone! I'm still trying to fine-tune things for the last few episodes, in case Season 3 also has to be online. In any case, enjoy the episode!
Assalamulaikum everyone! Welcome to the twelfth episode of season 2 of Project Manchala. For today's episode, I have someone I look up to as an inspiration and to an extent, a role model as well, join me in welcoming Mushahid Hussain. In today's episode, we discussed various topics ranging from the impact Covid19 has had on doctors, medical students and the overall implications that have had for the country. We discussed how due to the widespread lack of information and awareness many people are still treating the pandemic as an afterthought, rather than the serious condition it really is, as well as how the conduct of the government regarding education has been lacklustre, to say the least, as well as further going in dept as to why online education failed in Pakistan. Rounding it off with how the promise of 'exposure' in the creative industry has gotten to an all-time high and is creating an exploitive culture which should, by all means, be criminal, in my personal opinion of course.
Assalamulaikum everyone! Welcome to the twelfth episode of season 2 of Project Manchala. For today's episode, I have my friend Maryam Irfan Mir on to discuss the possibility of another lockdown being imposed sometime soon, whether you really should be spending so much time accessorising with your cloth masks, some of the difficulties she's personally faced academically and in her personal life. Rounding it up with some common misconceptions surrounding the pandemic and vaccination. If you haven't already, please do get your grandparents and parents registered, as of recording this, vaccination has begun for people aged 40 and above. If you can, help out your support staff as well. I hope you've all been enjoying this season of Manchala, we're slowly coming to a close as there are a few more episodes I have planned out that I'd like to produce. Assalamulaikum everyone! Welcome to the tenth episode of season 2 of Project Manchala. For today's episode, I have my good friend Fatima Abbas Adenwalla on to discuss how life has had to evolve and how an online medium for life has changed things. Have they been for the better? Have they been for the worse? Join us as we breakdown the atrocity that was 2020.
Assalamulaikum everyone! Welcome to the ninth episode of season 2 of Project Manchala. For today's episode, I have my good friend Salman Ahmed Barry back onboard to dissect some of the most critically acclaimed film trilogies in the world, what we personally think makes a good film, how to tastefully execute CGI and the love for movies that we both share and the journey it's taken the both of us.
This is a special two-part series, with the first episode dealing with critically acclaimed film trilogies like Lord of the Rings and Star Wars, the precedent they set for films to come later down the line, including their brilliant usage of CGI, while I and Salman also break down some of our favourite films and what they mean to us. With the second part delving deep into the MCU, and the universe Marvel has created. What does it take to create and run a universe like this? Salman has become a regular staple on the podcast, but I hope you guys enjoy listening to us ramble as much as I enjoy doing it with him.
Assalamulaikum everyone! Welcome to the eighth episode of season 2 of Project Manchala. Assalamulaikum everyone! Welcome to the seventh episode of season 2 of Project Manchala. For today's episode, I have my good friend Farheen Shaikh to talk about how she’s personally tackled her own mental, how it’s affected her art and the coping mechanisms she often employs to work around her struggles with her health. I hope this episode serves as a good stress relief to the creatives out there who struggles from mental illnesses, your illness is not a limitation, it’s just another hoop you have to jump through. Sometimes that jump is easy, and sometimes it’s really scary. But if I can do it, so can you.
Assalamulaikum everyone! Welcome to the sixth episode of season 2 of Project Manchala. For today's episode, I have my good friend Ashfia Hasan to talk about one of our favourite comedy sitcom's, Brooklyn Nine-Nine! Brooklyn Nine-Nine is a comedy sitcom centred around a squad of NYPD detectives, showcasing their lives and jobs.
Now given the current political climate of the world and the various instances of police brutality that have come out this year, it puts the showrunners in a difficult spot. Join us as we discuss how we hope to see them tackling these problems and whether or not these are their issues to be tackling in the first place.
Another point we discuss is the influence celebrities have, and the impact of having such a platform can have on the masses. This was the most politically charged episode I've ever done and was in my personal opinion a very intellectual one as well. So I hope you guys enjoyed the change of pace from the usual topics.
Assalamulaikum everyone! Welcome to the fifth episode of season 2 of Project Manchala. For today's episode, I have my good friend Alina Zehra to discuss everything going on with Marvel’s Spider-Man 3, the problems with beginning a possible live action Spider-verse, the risk of making the film feeling bloated due to the large cast, will they be able to make it work? Let’s discuss. Also with a sprinkle of real life regarding how both of our professions have us eventually becoming more and more insensitive to the sadness that plagues our professions. And a bit of jazz about our best friend, because why not?
