Project: Shadow

Brian and I are rewatching Chuck and it brought up a lot of thoughts.

Let's kick off our talks about tropes with a discussion of Magical Orphans. Why do so many heroes have dead parents? Let's explore.

Let's talk about Netflix's Love Death + Robots, with a focus on some of the shorts. If you want a deeper breakdown on a particular episode let me know.

What was the writers' room thinking?  This is an episode without a point or a purpose. It just happens.

Let's talk about how we lie to ourselves to overwork and burn out while thinking we are doing the right thing, and some methods to help us.

Have you missed my rants? I haven't done one in a while... well not since Star Trek Discovery murdered with tropes. Now DC has a cut and paste paint by numbers trailer for the Joker movie, and it gave me feels. Not the good ones. The bad ones. The WTF you doing DC ones that we have all come to know and love. Enjoy.
