She bounced back by applying for a real estate job, a field where she had no experience and subsequently worked on learning, financial literacy, and time management, now aiming to "keep failing and learning" as every failure has provided a better lesson. She maintains accountability, which she considers the highest form of self-respect and self-love, through daily journaling that tracks her life and growth. Discipline, for Mercy, means "showing up even when you don't feel like it," but she also stresses giving oneself "grace" to fail and rise again.
