We will look at the box office to see which science fiction movies were the most popular at the movie theaters.  Which movies were the most popular science fiction movies of 1990? Arnold Schwarzenegger is still at the top, how much longer will he reign as king of the Box Office? Were the least popular movies really that bad?

I mistakenly added Abraxas Guardian of the Universe to 1990, when it was released in 1991. 

Not all shapeshifters are evil monsters. Some are advanced and friendly. They can fall in love like everyone else. We will discuss the Allasomorphs, tidally locked planets, and Wesley's first kiss!

Pop feminism was a huge trend in the 2010's that is finally becoming annoying even to feminists, but many of the lame writing we saw in the 2010's could also be seen in the 1990's. I will talk about the most annoying examples from Star Trek The Next Generation. These early attempts at writing strong females came across as sexist and annoying. A lot of the old tropes of female dominated planet and white woman saves the savages can be found in this show. I only mentioned 3. One of these episodes directly relates to one of the worst episodes of Stargate SG-1!

I don't mind being wrong so let me know, or give me some of your examples. This theme can be written well, but these are when they failed.
