In episode 7 of Prolific Roots, we sat down with Brei Wolfgramm as she shared with us what drove her decision to pursue a career in law enforcement at such a young age. In this episode, she highlights some of the challenges she faced when first embarking on her journey to becoming a cop and how she is received being as that she is a petite woman in a male dominated industry. In this chat, she lets us in on her experiences with sex crimes, losing close friends in the line of duty, and dealing with close friends and family who wish she’d decide on another profession. She also shares with us her passions before she committed to law enforcement and some of her ambitions she has for herself moving forward. In Episode 6 of Prolific Roots we sit down with Sienna Lalau and her mother Jean-e. Sienna is a dancer who has been able to turn her passion into her profession. Her love for dancing started before she was even born and with the help and support from her family she has been able to tap into her potential and become the famous dancer she is today. In our chat she shares her journey from dancing in her hometown in Honolulu, HI to doing the choreography for one of the biggest bands in the world, the Korean pop group, BTS.
In Episode 5 of Prolific Roots we sit down with Jouilani Tavita Tapu. Jouilani is a Real Estate Investor based out of Utah that started with flipping almost two years ago. She now has her own company Tapu Capital Investments that she manages all her flips and short term rentals through. In our chat, she shares a bit about the journey that led her to Real Estate. While in college she realized that she was more valuable than the $60k salary she was probably going to get upon graduating. So she began looking for other avenues that she could take advantage of to help support her family. While driving home from school one day she came across an ad for a Real Estate investing group, made the call, and the rest is history.
In Episode 4 of Prolific Roots we get the opportunity to sit down with Amber Aiono Johnson. Amber is currently a Director of Sales at Divvy. A Utah based startup that is expected to become the next billion dollar unicorn. Amber is a huge Kobe Bryant fan and in her story she shares a bit about how she used that Mamba Mentality to improve her skills as a Saleswoman so much that she eventually became a Director of Sales, started and sold a company, and then became a Director of Sales again at Divvy (despite dropping out of college).
Prolific Roots Episode 2 with the well respected tattoo artist Lala Ellsworth. @lalaellsworth currently works out of Frost City Tattoo shop in Midvale, UT. He specializes in Polynesian tribal designs. In this interview he details how his journey into tattooing began. He also explains the sacrifice, hard work and determination it took to go from being a beginner, tattooing for cheeseburgers, to being completely booked despite being an artist that is not necessarily cheap.
