(Production Note: David here. We recorded this before Geeks and Nerds for Harris and Walz. I was fighting with my webhosting company for a bit. Apologies for the temporal anomaly.)
If you had control of the Star Trek franchise for the next ten years, what would you do? Heather and David go over their wishlists if Alex Kurtzman were to give them the book.
We wrap up our discussion on Star Trek Prodigy Season 2. Spoilers: We loved it! Netflix, you’d be fools not to greenlight a 3rd season. Damned fools.
In Upcoming Business, we look at the 2024 Election here in the United States. Geeks Nerds and Trekkies from all walks are going in one direction. And we are not going back.

The crew of the USS Protostar deal with Tribbles of varying sizes, and David finally comes to appreciate Jankem Pog for good.
A moment in the mirror universe gave Heather a touch of the ick, and we both wonder how a kid’s show is doing so much stuff like this.
But Star Trek Prodigy is so much more than a kid’s show.

We continue our non-binged discussion of Season 2 of Star Trek Prodigy. And we finally come to an episode that David was waiting for Heather to see. Coincidentally right after the Intergalactic Friendship Day at San Diego Comic Con.

Heather’s 8 episodes through Season 2 of Star Trek Prodigy, and business is beginning to pick up.
Plus, all the Star Trek news from San Diego Comic Con 2024, and yes. We WILL be talking about the Strange New Worlds trailer, both Heather and David have opinions.

Heather and David (sans one microphone) are back.
Star Trek Prodigy Season 2 is out on Netflix and has taken Trekkies by storm.
We do a mostly spoiler-free talk about Season 2, but go through the first four episodes.
In Upcoming Business, David mentions a couple of the stories about San Diego Comic Con, but does not give Heather any spoilers. Or tries not to.

Star Trek Discovery’s fifth and final season has concluded. And we celebrate them as they deserve. We give one final big send off to the catalyst of our modern Latinum Age of Star Trek.
But not without someone who knows Star Trek Discovery in and out! So, we welcomed noted Trekkie podcast guest Jordan La Fordan for our 85th episode.
For Old Business, we talk about the final seasons of Legacy Star Trek, and you really don’t have to think too hard to guess which one David chose. Heather and Jordan do some deep diving.
And in Upcoming Business, Jordan has some news on Star Trek Strange New Worlds Season 3 from Trek Long Island, and we have one (and soon to be two after this was recorded) cast announcement for Starfleet Academy.
Let’s fly!

It’s not exactly super happy fun Star Trek time this episode of Promenade Merchants.
The news of the cancellation of Star Trek Lower Decks after its 5th season had David heated. Rant incoming.
We also go through episodes “Jinaal” and “Face the Strange” from Star Trek Discovery, and do our standard old business.

We’re officially back! And so is Star Trek.
The fifth and final season of Star Trek Discovery is under way. Captain Michael Burnham and her crew are on a treasure hunt, and all good things must come to an end. Heather and David talk about “The Red Directive” and “Under the Twin Moons” after their premiere on Paramount+.
In Old Business, we celebrate Wrestlemania and celebrity appearance on Star Trek, naming some of our favorites, and fantasy book a couple of others. (The wrestling fans know what we mean.)
In Upcoming Business….Rachel Garrett?

Some Star Trek news has been bubbling under the surface since episode 79. Is it real? Is it fake? Are we content farming? Maybe!
Heather and David are joined by podcaster, fashionista and lifelong Trekkie Jacques Noel Manuel to talk about movies, finales and more.
We talk about finales in Legacy Star Trek, and YES. “These Are The Voyages…” does come up.
Also, the Section 31 Movie, the rumored Picard script penned by Patrick Stewart, and the rumored film in development from the director of Star Wars: Andor.
Plus, we talk about the move to Netflix for Star Trek Prodigy.
Big thanks to Jacques for joining s.

We each have requests for the next season of Star Trek Lower Decks, now that Season 4 has finished. Will they come true? What would you like to see from Legacy Star Trek in Lower Decks?
We give our thoughts on the Star Trek Lower Decks two-part finale “The Inner Fight” and “Old Friends, New Planets” and our feelings on Season 4, and we look ahead to Season 5.
In upcoming business (since we don’t know when there will be new Star Trek yet), Heather has some toy news, and David has some gripes with Paramount+
Thanks for listening!
