God makes promises to His people in the Old Testament, and the promises God MADE in the Old Testament…have been promises KEPT by God in the New Testament.

There are three main themes to understanding the Old Testament:

1) A particular history

2) God’s passion for holiness

3) Old Testament's promise of hope
