With National Athletic Training Month (#NATM2020) coming up in March, this is a good time for all athletic trainers to be thinking about ways you can promote yourself as a healthcare professional and your profession to other stakeholders and community members who are potentially touched by athletic training. This year's theme is "Athletic Trainers are #HealthcareInAction", and one way of taking action is to promote yourself and your profession to gain increased exposure and understanding for those you help with your expertise. This episode is an example of one way you can do that. Last year David Borchardt, ATC and Ryan Stevens, ATC had the privilege of being interviewed on a television show by physician Dr. Douglas Ashinsky, where the athletic training profession was discussed. Ryan is the manager of athletic training, Physical Therapy, and Fitness for RWJ Somerset and Hamilton hospitals, and David is director of athletic training for Rutgers University Athletics. This audio is property of RWJBarnabas Health and was repurposed for this podcast. Original video link here: https://youtu.be/ZDwcZebz9h8
