Marty discusses changes and additions in the newly released mVisionOS26 developer beta 7
Today’s Pronote:
visionOS 26 Beta 7 Release Notes

If you were hoping for shiny new features… this one’s about polish, not pop.
For Vision Pro users, beta 7 doesn’t add anything you’ll immediately notice. Your day-to-day feels like beta 6. The same small quirks are still listed in the notes— occasional rough edges with Mac Virtual Display, and a few Safari oddities. Bottom line: if you’re just looking to use the headset, this build is about stability, not new toys.
No Jupiter environment and No curved panoramic Virtual displays
For developers, there is one new callout: Apple flags a Memory Tools known issue where leak detectors can falsely report leaks in some Swift/Objective-C bridged cases. Translation: if your leak graph suddenly lights up after updating, take a breath—it might be the tools, not your app. Otherwise, the dev sections largely mirror beta 6—ARKIt, Metal, RemoteImmersiveSpace, StoreKit/SwiftUI—steady as she goes.
What’s new for Vision Pro users
Practical tip: If you were happy on beta 6, beta 7 is safe for polish; don’t install just to chase features.
