We are so excited to welcome our first guest to the podcast! The fabulous, wonderful, kick ass and hilarious Amy Hart! Amy is a mom to two awesome girls that are 10 and 6, so she is a couple years ahead of us in this wild journey of motherhood and we've brought her on to pick her brain and get the real about things like negotiating with tweens and having to fill up the swear jar. We dive in the the emotional side of parenting and commiserate over things like postpartem horns (iykyk). One thing is for sure, we're all just out here to survive but she promises it does get a little easier!

Kid's birthday parties can be such a fun and amazing part of parenthood - but they can also be a total pain in the ass and come with a lot of landmines to navigate. Who do you invite - is it the whole preschool class? What's the ettiequte for bringing siblings? How over the top do you feel you need to go? Is Costco Pizza the way to go? Are paper invitations a thing of the past?

Spoiler: There's really no right or wrong answer, but as usual - Paige and Nina have opinions. There's a lot of ways to throw an amazing birthday party, but there's one thing we agree on, it's all about the entertainment!

So this week we're hearing about Nina's amazing vacation date night double header and dive into more ideas of easy date nights, child care hurdles and how to split up the burden of planning so as parents we can get out the door and enjoy some kid free time.

Paige and her husband went to the Yellowcard concert and high school nostalgia was strong. Nothing like a date night way passed your bedtime (and your kids getting up at 6am) to make you feel old, but fulfilled! After the concert recap we dive in to a fun Q&A series! We're seasoned moms at this point and recently we've gotten some questions from friends who are first time mama's to be, so we compiled the questions and gave our hot takes on things like; best diaper brands, lactation consultants, post-birth hospital visits and random things like how do you get baby a social security cards. We're not saying we're right, but we're just saying we've been there!
