Though right wingers love to fantasize about the evil government coming to get them, there is very little evidence for this outside of movies, books and television scripts. So, why are people so afraid of the American government, a government that has allowed more freedom to its citizens, especially white citizens, than perhaps any other country in history. Simple, propaganda. But the government would obviously not criminalize itself. So where is the propaganda coming from? "Brainwashing" is a myth created by conservatives as well. It is the reason the satanic panic cases against entertainers were dismissed in the 90s. There is not scientific proof for brain washing. So what is propaganda? It is a process by which fears that already exist in society, without any influence whatsoever, are risen to a level of panic by the media. But which media? You may be surprised to find out that the answer lies in your mind's eye. So, is it propagation or mental masturbation? Surprisingly, it could be both.
