  • Continuous learning is important as all of us can develop new skills.
  • Building your personal brand is important and we should all be proactive in how we highlight our skills and experience. Jim and Lauren touch on this a bit for how we are doing this
  • Summer can be a great time to update your LinkedIn profile!  
  • It’s important to balance the “fear of missing out” with ensuring thoughtful time management so that you can maximize opportunities and impact
  • You might have more mental freedom in the summer to focus on your own career development. Utilize this time to plan for the future
  • Use the summertime to continue to develop your network and reengage existing people in  your
    • network  
  • Have your elevator pitch ready in case you meet
    • someone during your networking!
