The lender reports that prices fell by 0.6%, slowing the annual growth rate to 1.7%, citing the Iran war as a factor.

Landlords must give the government Renters Rights Information Sheet 2026
to all tenants before the end of May or risk a fine of up to £7000.

Although successive governments seem to be doing their best to encourage the big corporate landlords and drive small landlords out of business (Section 24, licensing, increased red tape etc), they still need the estimated 2 million private buy-to-let property landlords.
