So this is it people, the final (for now!) episode of Property Jam!  After almost 5 years, 214 episodes, 75,000 downloads in 92 countries, we are saying goodbye to our podcast baby who has seen us through some amazing highs and lows.  Join us as we take a trip down memory lane and reminisce about our favourite episodes, guests and anecdotes.  We chat about how far we’ve come in our personal and professional lives in the last 5 years and reflect on our achievements.  We also leave the door open for another Christmas episode in the future so keep your eyes and ears peeled!!!

Well this is it people, the last few days before the General Election and we’ve seen all parties canvassing like crazy over the last few weeks.  The gang are talking election uncertainty this month from their respective houses - in Bristol, London and Bali - 3 guesses who is where.  Clue - check the shirt out.  We talk about the different potential outcomes of Thursday and how it may end up affecting the market and industry we’re in so tune in for some insights.

Whichever way you’re voting on Thursday, remember to get out there and vote so you have a voice - especially you youngsters!!  And DON’T FORGET YOUR ID!!

We’re back as a trio this month and it’s a short and snappy episode where we talk about whether or not it makes sense to include your home as part of your overall investment strategy.  We discuss motivation to get into property as for many it’s the ability to build or buy their “dream home” that is the reason for doing this job.  We talk about the importance but sometimes the difficulty of getting your partner or loved ones on board with the dream and whether or not we could live in a building site while the renovations are being completed - think living in a caravan on site for 5 years while you build your “grand design” (we’ve all seen the show!).  Elsewhere there’s auction chat with a couple of our hosts confessing to not being fans…!!!  

TW: Cancer.  Susannah tells us about how she’s had cancer and cancer treatment over the last couple of years.  Thankfully she is recovered now but if this is something that you are dealing with at the moment or struggling with then we totally understand if you need to skip this episode.

In the last of our special guest episodes, we are joined by Susannah Cole, The Good Property Company all the way from sunny, stunning Barcelona (what is it with these guests swanning around foreign climes?!). As you would expect from any of guests, the topics covered are varied and wide reaching!  We discuss building up a property portfolio which allows you to take a break from working for a while, grand 5 year plans and health challenges.  As ever there are some saucy moments which include a sexually well informed hairdresser but we’ll leave you to discover these in your own time!  Despite the type of subjects covered, it’s a joyous and uplifting episode so enjoy.

This month’s special guest is the very highly in demand, GB News’ Property expert Kristina Castellina, aka The Goodlife Property Investor!  Kristina has been on her property journey for 9 years now specialising in Serviced Accommodation in the Blackpool area.  She tells us about the changing faces of Blackpool and surveying nightmares with her last couple of properties - sounds like there’s a definite need for education around property surveying in the Blackpool region if anyone wants a career change!  Talking of careers, we also discuss what our dream jobs would be and having our make up done like a drag queen so it’s as varied as ever!!  Tune in when you can.

Bushra Mohammed joins us on this month’s podcast to chat about property and law and how she manages to combine the two.  Bushra is in a pretty unique position of being a solicitor who understands the problems and the solutions so we definitely pick her brains about that!!  We talk about the importance of being able to relate and communicate with everyone in all walks of life in the industry and beyond.  She tells us about her auction addiction, different types of plaster and falling asleep in court!!

We're back out of maternity leave and semi retirement for this special episode where we each talk about our plans for 2024, property trends for the year and make some predictions about what the property market will hold for 2024.  We get serious for a moment crunching some numbers, talk 40th birthday plans for Matt as well as Botox (no connection honest!) Barbados and cocktails.
