In this episode of Straight Talk, Alaattin Kılıç interviews Saffet Kaya, an internationally renowned architect. His previous stop was at Zaha Hadid Architects (ZHA) and as a project designer, and architect of international designs he worked on projects on a spectrum of scales including several competition-winning projects such as the acclaimed London Aquatics Centre for the 2012 Olympic Games and the Heydar Aliyev Center in Baku on the bigger side. The latter of which Saffet is acknowledged as co-author. Saffet is also the designer for many of the product and furniture designs inside the structure, such as the critically-acclaimed Aqua Table. Recently, he won the Best Architect Award 2022 in Turkey for the Science and Technology Building in Cyprus. He is the founder of Saffet Kaya Architecture And he is the Chief Architect of our Designer Turkey.
