Why would the promised King, David's Son and David's Lord, end up nailed to a Roman cross? On the road to Emmaus, the risen Jesus asked two shattered disciples, "Was it not necessary that the Christ should suffer these things and enter into his glory?", and then answered it from Moses and all the Prophets. In this session we stand where those disciples stood, beneath the two great windows onto the cross written centuries before it happened: Psalm 22, which shows the suffering from the inside, and Isaiah 53, which explains it from above. Come hear why the cross did not interrupt the road to the throne, the cross was the road, and why that changes everything for you.
