Proroguing Parliament was unlawful (part one)

The Supreme Court in London decided that the Prime Minister’s advice to her Majesty was unlawful, and this resulted in parliament being prorogued and shut down. This occurred while the Brexit negotiations were still ongoing and the effect meant parliament could not exercise its constitutional function in scrutinising the actions of government.

StreetMic Podcast conducted many interviews outside the Supreme Court ninety minutes after the ground-breaking decision. Interviews were also conducted outside the Houses of Parliament and Number 10 Downing Street.

Part two of this Podcast will see street interviews outside the Houses of Parliament on the day MPs returned home, less than twenty four hours after the ground-breaking Supreme Court decision. This saw them resuming their parliamentary duties in holding Boris and the rest of the executive to account.
