Prospect Profile

In the latest Prospect Profile, Lawrence gets back to the defensive secondary and covers lengthy Penn State corner Amani Oruwariye and lauds his ability to use his long arms and size to disrupt receivers and continuously make plays on the ball. Then, he discusses 6'5" 250+lb tight end Kaden Smith of Stanford and his impressive ability to climb the ladder and high point balls in contested situations in the middle of the field.

On Episode 9 of Prospect Profile, Lawrence first covers Ohio State's DT Dre'Mont Jones and talks about his athleticism that allows him to close in on quarterbacks and ball carriers fast, but how his lack of strength and below average footwork will affect his NFL stock. Then he covers Boston College's Chris Lindstrom, who Lawrence feels is one of the most pro ready offensive linemen prospects in the draft who really made an impression against Clemson's NFL caliber defensive line.

We have a special guest host on Episode 8 as Lawrence is joined by Nino (Known as Reddit user i_MiLK, please check out his draft analysis on his user page or the NFL Draft Subreddit!) and we discuss Memphis RB Darrell Henderson and how his second level explosiveness is going to possibly land him as a day 1 starter, as well as Alabama LB Mack Wilson and how his coverage ability and general athletic ability allowing him to cover sideline to sideline will make him a surefire first round pick and starting LB for many possible teams.

On the latest Prospect Profile, Lawrence raves about the hard hitting, ball hawking University of Virginia safety Juan Thornhill and how well he's been able to adapt to being a full time safety from being a hybrid corner/safety in just one season and thrive in that role. Ryan Finley, the much hyped before the season QB from NC State is discussed and Lawrence explains how he feels Finley's pro potential is capped by a few major flaws in his QB play.

Prospect Profile Episode 6 is here, and we talk about the powerful, but extremely raw FBS sack leader Jaylon Ferguson of Louisiana Tech. Then we go over Arizona State's tall, big bodied receiver N'Keal Harry and how he uses his size to dominate one on one 50/50 ball situations but falls short in some areas of getting separation.

This week, Lawrence finally covers the tight end position as he talks about Iowa's Noah Fant, the absolute mismatch machine giving defenses fits on the college level and how he will be able to carry that success over to the NFL. Then he discusses Washington's Byron Murphy, the physical presence at corner who always seems to be getting his hands on the ball. Can he overcome his smallish frame at the next level?

Prospect Profile gets down and dirty in the trenches this weeks as Lawrence covers the blue collar, 5th year senior pass blocking extraordinaire Dalton Risner of Kansas State and explains how his off the field contributions will only help his pro prospects. And on the other side of the line, Lawrence talks about the big time potential of Houston's star Defensive Tackle Ed Oliver and addresses some of the arguments about his size for the NFL.

Lawrence covers the high upside, speedy pass rusher Josh Allen out of Kentucky and the elusive running back David Montgomery out of Iowa State on this week's episode!

Myself (Lawrence) and first guest ever and Pac-12/USC enthusiast Andrew (Twitter @Andrewskii) discuss the two ends of the quarterbacking spectrum in the Pac-12 with the young freshman gunslinger JT Daniels of USC, and the number one quarterback prospect in the nation Justin Herbert of Oregon, as well as swiss army knife defensive prospect Jalen Jelks of Oregon. We also get into the Heisman race as an end of show bonus!

Lawrence takes you on a journey into evaluating college football prospects in the premier episode of Prospect Profile, where he goes over the breakout season so far of University of Colorado receiver Laviska Shenault, and the under the radar career of ball hawking cornerback Jimmy Moreland out of the FCS school James Madison!
