PROSTAR XTRA POINTS PODCAST

Paul, Warren & Jon talk about changes making the 2020 NFL season a reality, some roster management items unique to this season, and some great charities some of our clients are involved in.  Oh...and how easy it was Jon to pack for an NFL workout since he only needed to pack one shoe.  (Stay tuned at the very end for a funny little blooper/out-take as well!)

Adam Caplan (@CaplanNFL) of @SiriusXMNFL, @SiriusXMFantasy, @957thegame, @FoxSports Radio and his own Inside the Birds podcast joins us to talk about the modern day of breaking stories, what gets reported and what doesn't, and a behind the scenes view of what it's like to be an NFL Insider.

In Episode 7, Jon Baker and Warren Schmidt discuss how the pandemic has affected our agency from a personal standpoint and the ramifications it has on the efforts to try to get professional football up and running.

In this, the first part of a 2 part series, we address the issue of race relations, inequalities and injustices in the aftermath of the George Floyd killing.  Specifically, what roles college and professional football have and can play in effectuating change.

In this, part 1, we address the layers of issues from the perspective of college football and the roles and responsibilities of both the university and student-athletes, with Arizona State University Deputy Athletics Director, Jean Boyd.

In this, the second of a 2 part series, we address the issue of race relations, inequalities and injustices in the aftermath of the George Floyd killing.  Specifically, what roles college and professional football have and can play in effectuating change.

In this, part 2, we'll be looking at it through the professional football lens, with 10 year NFL veteran player and current NFL Players Association Senior Director of the Former Players Division, Nolan Harrison.

Former NFL player and coach, and true renaissance man, Brock Olivo joins us in Episode 4 from his home just outside of Rome, Italy.  We talk some football, some wine, a little bit of pasta carbonara, stopping by Cafe Olivo and oh yeah...that whole Columbia thing.  (Missouri...not THAT Columbia....but worth a listen.)

Special Guest, Terry Ray joins the pod.  Terry brings a unique perspective, having seen football from every angle.  He played big time college football (Boomer Sooner), played in the NFL and CFL, worked in the front office of an NFL team (Redskins), and was a player agent.  He joins Paul, Warren and Jon in talking about the NFL Draft (and how ridiculous NFL Draft Grades are), the 1st round 5th year options, and have a few laughs over some funny stories from Jon's & Terry's days as teammates in the CFL.

Paul, Warren and Jon talk about the upcoming 2020 NFL Draft and all the chatter out there, talk about the role of draft services, the value of draft picks to a team's future, and share some funny stories of drafts gone by!

Paul & Warren talk about the professional sports leagues responses to the COVID-19 pandemic, and NFL free agency.  And maybe a funny recruiting story or two, as well!
