Not knowing how to protect your energy and nourish it on a regular basis in a healthy way is what leads to burnout in people's lives. It's what leads to exhaustion.
Learning how to safeguard your energy means that you have plenty of mental and emotional reserves - so you have more of yourself to give to others, to the people that you want to give to, and it also stops things when we have plenty of energy and we know how to protect it and nourish it and grow it.
It's a way to safeguard your mental and emotional reserves, right? So you have more of yourself to give to the people you want to give to.
This is an exciting practice and shift in mindset. You get to create a new story. Try it! One day when you go out, see how you feel when you come back and do it another day without doing it and see how you feel. I promise you this stuff works.
