With the world watching, American citizens are making there voices heard and their actions seen across the media and the web. However, is this protest in vain? How might they create purpose and action from the atrocities that brought them out of their living rooms in the first place?

As well this week Toronto police embark on a new body cam initiative, but a "turn you camera off" clause has brought up much heated debate on the new program. Will the body cams be dead on arrival?
