Protests against Irans regime erupt in Canada after U.S.-Israeli strikes

Thousands of Iranian-Canadians and other demonstrators rallied in various Canadian cities — including Montreal, Ottawa, Richmond Hill (near Toronto), and Vancouver — not primarily to protest Canada’s government, but to support anti-regime change in Iran and welcome the blows to Iran’s clerical leadership. Many expressed hope that the strikes could hasten the end of the Islamic Republic after decades of repression.
