In this episode Steve and Wayne continue the series on Kingdom Leadership by focusing on the need for Kingdom Leaders to enter the Kingdom themselves. Kingdom Leaders get no special entry priviledges. They need to enter for their own benefit as well as to know how to help others. The New Testament says very little on the topic of leadership so we need to pay extra attention to what it does say. Unfortunately, much of the teaching and current practice of church leadership has more of its basis in the military and heirarchial structures than it does in the Scriptures. Everyone who experiences the Kingdom of Heaven also must contend with religious attitudes that keep them and other people from experiencing more of the Kingdom. Some of these religious attitudes have been built over centuries or millennia and some have been established more recently. Jesus's disciples were not established religious leaders yet also showed emergent religious attitudes that Jesus needed to address. In this podcast, Steve and I look at the harmful nature of religion as well as four emergent religious attitudes the disciples showed that we also need to guard against.

From beginning to end, the Bible can and should be viewed as an account of God bringing Heaven on Earth. Creation, man, the Garden of Eden, the tabernacle, Jesus and the New Jerusalem are all copies and shadows of heavenly realities. Therefore, we can understand more about the unseen realms by how they manifest in the seen. Steve and Wayne unpack this further in this podcast.

Our spirit, soul and body can all "touch the surface" of the spiritual realm and as a result people have spiritual experiences. These experiences can be felt spiritually and/or emotionally and/or mentally and/or physically. In this podcast Steve and Wayne unpack Hebrews 10:22 which gives a succinct statement of the 4 dimensions of devotion that we can attend to engage with God in the spirit realms.

Our natural world exists in a limited set of dimensions within the greater reality of the Kingdom. Therefore, our contact with this greater reality of the KIngdom can be thought of in the same way as a person living within a painting engages with the greater space that the painting sits in. They would experience the greater reality by how it engages with the surface of the painting. When Acts 17:27 says we "feel our way towards Him", it uses a word that means "to rub or touch the surface". We have spiritual expereinces when our spirit, soul and body "touches the surface" of the spirit realm.
