A lesson on God's protection (Prov 15:25)

Life dawns with golden prospects and happy beginnings for a woman with all the prestige a wife could have. Yet upon her sudden widowhood, her secure circumstances unravel and not even her own family is near to support her. Can the dwelling she must build for herself withstand the forces of nature? Or perhaps her worth has been underestimated as people sneer at her dwelling's insignificance? 

A lesson on generosity (Prov 11:24)

One woman dares to give what she has to a girl less fortunate, only to discover her cabinets have been mysteriously resupplied. At the same time, another woman discourages herself from being a giver after considering the daunting meagerness of what she has. In a paradox, these two women experience consequences for their actions that defy reason.

A lesson on bitterness (Prov 27:19)

Hardened by pain from his past, an elderly gentleman becomes known for the scowl he bears. Inside, he is harboring a lot of anger, but is still oblivious to just how much his resentment has affected his countenance. After glimpsing his reflection, he sees a face that is unrecognizable.

A lesson on being wise in your own eyes (Prov 18:2)

Of all their friends, one country bumpkin takes the cake. Enamored with how interesting he perceives himself to be, the nonverbal feedback he's getting is confusing. Why is it that he always ends up talking to himself? Surely a radio show will help get him the audience he desires. Or will it? 

A lesson on the fear of man (Prov 29:25)

No one can seem to figure out why they are all afraid of each other. Fear is running rampant and people are getting desperate. Then a significant discovery is made--the glasses are causing the problem. 

A lesson on lawlessness (Prov 17:11) 

Generation after generation, the ancient ways of lawlessness were perpetuated. The rebels lived by no standard of right or wrong. In a vicious cycle of rebellion without restraint nor punishment, they flourished in a habitat crawling with their own kind. Are these wild ones even human?

A lesson on lying (Prov 17:4)

The success of a merchant and his business hinges on one thing--his ability to craft extravagant lies. While his customers are under the illusion that they've just purchased merchandise from exotic lands, he is losing his gift of common sense.

A lesson on order (Prov 30:21-23)

A cataclysmic event sets in motion a complete reversal of all things normal, sending every sector of society into a spiral of dysfunction and maddening chaos. Suddenly, this world of disorder becomes a picture of perfect disaster or a clown show at best. 

A lesson on selfishness (Prov 18:1)
