「The labor of the righteous leads to life,

　The wages of the wicked to sin.」Amen.

The "righteous" in the Bible are those who believe in God and live accordingly. And the "wicked" are those who do not know or deny God. It does not mean good people or bad people. Therefore, what is being taught here is that if we believe in God and walk in obedience to Him, the path of life is prepared for us ahead. On the contrary, if we reject God, we will struggle in the world of sin.
