Another translation of the word "envy" reads "intense thoughts" or "excitement." A person with a gentle heart is calm, unaffected by emotions, and makes good decisions. However, a "person with an intense heart" may get angry or be carried away by emotions, making it difficult to make good decisions. To entrust things to a person, you will still want to entrust them to a person with a calm heart. Possible factors that build a peaceful mind are love, joy, and peace, which flow from God.
