「Ointment and perfume delight the heart,

　And the sweetness of a man's friend gives delight by hearty counsel.」　Amen.

Another translation says, “The comfort of a friend strengthens the soul. If we have had the same experience, we may be able to communicate without words. We cannot share with others more comfort than we have experienced. On the contrary, we can share the comfort we have experienced. The apostle Paul said, (2 Corinthians 1:4) “who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.”
