We continue looking at the theme of slowing down, of being cautious, and not following our heart's natural impulses. Why? Because the natural heart of man is wicked and has a propensity to sin. In addition, several meditations in this section are on blessings, both temporal and eternal. We also discuss, is it a blessing to be martyred? In what sense is it a cross and in what sense is it a blessing? Should we look forward to the judgment? Will Christians graciously be rewarded for the good works that God has caused them to will and do? You are invited to listen.
