Topical study through Proverbs 5. We are warned on the sin of adultery in the physical, literal sense but we also learn a lesson on how to apply it to our spiritual lives. We see how the adulteress from the Proverbs is a type of sin (and lure of the world, the enemy, and our own flesh) in the believer’s life and if left unchecked and given into, it leads to our spiritual death. — But thanks be to God who gives us the victory in Jesus Christ!
