Jeremiah pleaded with the people of Judah that God had many good things to give them. But he had to withhold these due to the sin of the people. This is the same for us if we are yet to come to a saving knowledge of Christ. We consider 7 good things that God would give to us, if only we would turn to Him.

Are we satisfied with our lives- Harvest is a time for giving thanks to God, the ultimate life-giver. When Joel sounded an alarm to Judah, the physical harvest had perished. Judgement hung over the people. However, his message was that the Lord could repair the damage done and they could eat in plenty and be satisfied. The condition- they must -Call on the name of the Lord for deliverance.-

What thought process should Faith employ, when all the forces that Satan can gather confederate against us- Joshua hears the Lord's words -Be not afraid- and goes forward in faith. The outcome is certain. We too in the Christian life have a duty to obey and exercise our faith. We must believe the promises given and refuse to compromise. Complete obedience will then bring complete victory.

Most people occasionally consider their thoughts towards God. But seldom pause to consider God's thoughts towards them. The Bible says that God thinks about us. What does He think- Are His thoughts of evil- Jeremiah tells us His thoughts are of peace and not of evil. He desires to give us a certain and better future. Will we call on Him and seek Him-

Persistent prayer is a powerful weapon. Peter's imprisonment drove the church to earnest prayer. The Lord heard and answer above their expectations. His supernatural release is but one of the many examples of Divine power and a seemingly impossible deliverance from captivity and death.

What did God see when He looked at the pre-flood world, and what does He see when He surveys our world today- What God Saw brought Him grief and Sorrow, and he had no choice but to execute the Sentence. But in the midst of His Sorrow and announcing the Sentence, He also revealed Grace to Noah, His Solution and our only hope for salvation.
