Jesus came as the Messiah sent by God to establish his Kingdom. In chapters 8-9 He demonstrates his mercy to sinners and authority-power to overturn the Satan's kingdom of darkness. Those who put their faith in him become his servants and experience the eternal blessings of his Kingdom.

Jesus' last words to his disciples before ascending back to the Father. Don't get bogged down with trying to figure out when I am going to return, but be ready to receive the power of the Holy Spirit so that you might be my witnesses beginning where you are out to the remotest part of the earth.
