We're reading through the Bible this year together. This week, we ended Leviticus (and all God's people cheered "Amen!") and jumped right into Numbers — the book of family trees. Welcome to The Journey 2020! This week in our journey through the Bible, we'll see God delivering the law to His people. THE law. You know, the law the Hebrews (they weren't Jews yet), and you, and I could not and can not follow hence the whole reason we need Jesus. Yeah, that law.

As we continue our way through The Journey 2020, we find ourselves arriving at the book of Exodus… and there's a lot happening in the first section of this book! God begins to more fully introduce himself to his people, the people of Israel are fleeing slavery in Egypt, and we're witness to the first Passover.

Our culture encourages people to be victims. Go against the flow: be a victor, instead! Throughout Joseph’s story, we see 5 important aspects of a victor.

Alas, we can’t tackle all of the questions you might have from the passages we’ve been reading this week on The Journey — but we will be taking a close look at Abraham’s own journey. Needless to say, he’s kind of a big deal!

If you’ve been following along with us on The Journey so far, then you’ve made your way through the Book of Job and you undoubtedly have some questions. In this episode, Chad addresses a number of questions that have popped up now that we’ve seen Job question his suffering, his friends, and even God.
