Lets not beat around the bush, this was going to be a tough show to tackle and there was going to be a lot of emotion in it.  This episode was designed to be about the history and current state of Image Comics, but it morphed into a comparison piece between what DC Comics is doing with "Future State" and what Image Comics is currently putting out there.

We also discuss more of the rumors of Spiderman 3 as well as discuss the trailers for Monster Hunters and Jui Jitsu.

The show starts with JR celebrating the Lakers Championship and gets a little fuzzy from there.  The guys talk about the Virtual New York Comic Con and all the big panels and announcements made over the weekend.  The big announcements were in the form of presentations about Jurassic World:Dominion, Resident Evil, American Gods, and Spider-Man 3.

We cover the basics of the week with our news and notes, including the casting news of Marvel Studios selecting their Kamala Khan, a new Resident Evil project coming to Netflix, and Spider-Man for the PS5 gets a facelift

Our main topic kicks off with the best comic of September 2020 and runs down to the worst of the month.  JR manages to get a good rant in while moving through all the big items we've discussed the last 30 days.

Our show finishes with our Flex Pull of the week, which includes some sweet comics from JR and a handful of new exclusive Funko Pops that Kevin purchased from Target.  During the Flex Pull, Kevin explains, in painstaking detail, the intricacy of valuing Funkos...only to open not 1, but 2 exclusives on the podcast.

Today's main topic is about the culture of live action remakes of old cartoons or animated features.  However, before we get there we have to talk about the WandaVision trailer that almost broke the internet.  What was supposed to be our initial news and notes topic, nearly took over the show.  What also almost took over the show was our thoughts on the direction of James Bond and 007 franchise.

Our main topic for the day was discussing the culture of live action remakes.  We compare and contrast franchises like Transformers, Anime, GI Joe, and of course Disney.

The show concludes with the return of our "Flex Pull" as JR shows off his latest CGC haul

Why in the world is Kevin so damn tired?  What was he doing all week?  What exciting and sad news does JR have?  Click on the video to find out.

The guys discuss the past week in video games and what we should expect going into the Holiday season.  All three major platforms (Nintendo, Playstation, and Xbox) made announcement this past week and blew the roof off the industry.  The show delves into a game by game, stat for stat, bit by bit comparison of the PS5 and the XBOX Series X.

The guys start off this weeks show by unveiling a new BossLogic original that may have got him into trouble with Marvel and which Avenger may or may not have posted a NSFW photo.

The show followed with our usual news and notes of the week; including the New DUNE trailer, DC Fandome part 2, and the Walking Dead.

Our main topic of the day was all about comic book variants and whether or not their bubble is about to pop.  Are there too many variants?  Is there actual variant fatigue?  Will this trend stop?  Will it burst?  Does it affect collectors?

We would love to hear your opinion below...

We get back to basics on this show and talk about collecting, but not before discussing the weeks news.

The main part of our show we talk about the top covers out there.  Kevin shows us his top 10 favorite comic book covers of all time and JR shows us his top 10 covers of the week.

This episode is dedicated to the memory of Black Panther actor, Chadwick Boseman, who passed away on August 28th.  We open the show talking about Chadwick Boseman and his legacy, albeit short, but definitive in its impact.

The remainder of the show is all about the diversity in comics and comic book movies.  The guys discuss things from cancel culture in the genres to white washing as well as gender/race swapping of major characters.  It may be one of the most controversial shows we've done.  It may seem like at times the guys are all over the place, but there are a lot of great points made on diveristy.

This weeks episode we basically take back all the mean things we said about DC last week.  Saturday, August 22nd saw the debut of a 24 hour one of a kind fan experience that unveiled tons of DC information, trailers, panels,  and behind the scenes footage from upcoming projects.  JR and Kevin breakdown some of the major reveals, including; The Batman, Suicide Squad, Gotham Knights, The Suicide Squad video game, Wonder Woman and the Synder Cut of Justice League.  Sit back and relax as we dive deep into the DC, the DCEU, HBO Max, and DC Video Games.  #DCFandome #DCComics #DCEU
