Lets not beat around the bush, this was going to be a tough show to tackle and there was going to be a lot of emotion in it.  This episode was designed to be about the history and current state of Image Comics, but it morphed into a comparison piece between what DC Comics is doing with "Future State" and what Image Comics is currently putting out there.  

We also discuss more of the rumors of Spiderman 3 as well as discuss the trailers for Monster Hunters and Jui Jitsu.

Today's main topic is about the culture of live action remakes of old cartoons or animated features.  However, before we get there we have to talk about the WandaVision trailer that almost broke the internet.  What was supposed to be our initial news and notes topic, nearly took over the show.  What also almost took over the show was our thoughts on the direction of James Bond and 007 franchise.  

Our main topic for the day was discussing the culture of live action remakes.  We compare and contrast franchises like Transformers, Anime, GI Joe, and of course Disney.  

The show concludes with the return of our "Flex Pull" as JR shows off his latest CGC haul

Our main topic of the day was all about comic book variants and whether or not their bubble is about to pop.  Are there too many variants?  Is there actual variant fatigue?  Will this trend stop?  Will it burst?  Does it affect collectors?

The main part of our show we talk about the top covers out there.  Kevin shows us his top 10 favorite comic book covers of all time and JR shows us his top 10 covers of the week.

This episode is dedicated to the memory of Black Panther actor, Chadwick Boseman, who passed away on August 28th.  We open the show talking about Chadwick Boseman and his legacy, albeit short, but definitive in its impact.  

The remainder of the show is all about the diversity in comics and comic book movies.  The guys discuss things from cancel culture in the genres to white washing as well as gender/race swapping of major characters.  It may be one of the most controversial shows we've done.  It may seem like at times the guys are all over the place, but there are a lot of great points made on diveristy.
