Casey and Trista sit down with honored guest, Conner (Casey’s brother!!), to discuss Japanese internment and how that trauma has affected multiple generations of Japanese Americans and the Shigeta family in particular. This episode means a lot to Casey and Conner. It breaches an uncommonly discussed topic in American history and gives two Japanese Americans a chance to voice and reclaim their lost cultural identity.
