In preparation for today’s Dig In questions, read Psalm 34 .
1) On Sunday, we opened up by discussing the word “worship.” What do you naturally think of when you think of the word “worship”?
2) In Psalm 34:1-3, the Psalmist strives to praise God, (worship), in all aspects of his life; whether he is experiencing the highs, lows, or averages of life. When it comes to your life, when do you typically lean into worshipping God - the highs; lows; or mundane, average days of life?
3) Read Philippians 3:7-9. In this text, Paul talks about his past accomplishments being “worthless” in comparison to knowing Jesus Christ. What is it that you tend to hang your hat on - your past achievements, possessions, popularity, etc.? Why is knowing Christ and living a life of worship infinitely more important than those?
4) Read Ephesians 2:1-10. What does the text point out about what God has done for us? How should you respond to such gifts?
5) Read Mark 12:29-31. In this text, Jesus points out the two most important things we can do with our time in this life if we are going to live a life of worship. What do you need to do differently to love God and people better?
