Psalm 38
In earlier episodes, Edwin and Andrew discussed the relatability of Psalm 38 and the shock that David felt he could direct God to check His anger at David's sin. However, lest anyone gather from these discussions that Psalm 38 condones sin or winks at it, in this episode they discuss the truly awful consequences sin had in David's life. Of course, these are the same consequences sin has in our lives. While we can take great comfort in the grace and mercy with which God forgives our sin, we learn once again none of this is permission to sin and none of this is promoting sin.
