In Psalm 57, David writes from a cave—running for his life, surrounded by pressure, and overwhelmed by what’s in front of him. But before he addresses the chaos around him, he brings his heart to God: “Hide me. Hear me. Help me.” This is a raw, honest prayer from a man who knows he can’t fix it on his own.
