Psalm 64.David wants God to be engaged in his meditation as he walks through the inscribed pillars. The extent of your prayer relationship should not be ask and receive like a customer. David is not requesting to remove or be protected from his enemy, but rather from his fear of the enemy. David wanted to preserve his life from making life choices based on fear. We fear when we realize how wicked men are. Like arrows, words can injure you from a distance. Words can incite violence. Verse 6, inward thought and heart of man are deep (dark). But God! What does God have to say? All men’s words and wicked conspiracies are like like children punching an adult. Once God shows His wrath, there is nowhere to run to or to hide. Do not live in fear. Live glad and glory in God.
