Psalm 73 wrestles with the tension between the prosperity of the wicked and the suffering of the faithful. The psalmist admits his envy and confusion—his feet almost slipped—until he entered God's sanctuary and gained an eternal perspective. In the end, he confesses that though his heart and flesh may fail, God is the strength of his heart and his portion forever.
