「I know that the Lord will maintain

　The cause of the afflicted,

　And justice for the poor.」　Amen.

　Did the poet know from experience? That God is on the side of the afflicted and the poor. But if you don't go before God with an empty heart, you will not be satisfied. If your heart is full of grumbling, doubting, and cursing, there is no room for God's Word. When you empty your mind and open your mouth wide, God's grace will pour down.
