We continue our series in Biblical Wisdom Literature, with Katie Twitchett speaking on Psalms . We are encouraged to take a look at our own souls in their current state, and invited to present them to God for healing.
Discussion Questions
- When was the last time you spent out in nature?
- Imagination time! If you could picture your soul before you as a physical thing right now, how would you describe it? You could try using water or natural images (ideas: calm pool of water, crashing waves, dry desert, icy pond, deep dark forest, etc.) Why is that the description you chose?
- Pray together and for each other
- WEEKLY CHALLENGE: Write and/or pray aloud to God, describing to Him the picture you had of your own soul, explaining to Him why you think it's like that, and then asking Him directly and in detail to help your soul.
